Western Screech-Owl
Quite difficult to detect due to nocturnal habits, but can be lured into view by imitating its vocalizations. Difficult to confirm breeding due to its nesting in tree cavities.

Challenge: Determine extent of distribution within most of its range in eastern Oregon.
